JULY

The range given above for June can be used for July. A most important addition, however, occurs during July, and that is a small fly which becomes very numerous during the rest of the season. This fly is represented by the famous Clyde style CRAN SWALLOW. The CRAN SWALLOW is a fabulous little fly and will take a great toll of trout on either river or loch.

AUGUST

Repeat patterns for the previous months using the flies which give the best results in a particular locality. Another good fly for August is the MAVIS & BLACK.

SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER

As the month advances return again to those flies for the beginning of the season
