Salmon Flan

serves 1 - 2  time 30 - 60mins  

 

Ingredients

8 oz salmon (flaked)
1 shallot (chopped)
2 eggs
ΒΌ pint milk
1 cooked pastry case
cucumber and lemon slices -(for decoration)
salt and pepper

 

Cooking Method

1. Preheat oven to 190 0C; 375 0F; Gas 5.

2. Whisk eggs, milk, salt and pepper.

3. Chop shallot.
4. Fill pastry case with shallot and salmon.
5. Pour on eggs and milk mixture.
6. Brush the salmon fillets with some of the French dressing and grill (broil) for 6 minutes, turning once.
7. Decorate with sliced cucumber and lemon.
