A few photographs of the Nairn Angling Association water
by John Gray
The
Nairn Angling Association controls the salmon and sea
trout fishing on the lower nine miles of the River Nairn, with some fine
fly fishing pools throughout the beat, from above Kilravock to
the Moray Firth. Fishing permits for visitors are available on a
daily or weekly basis. See

The photographs below, taken in early
March 2010, show just a few of the fine
pools on the association water beginning with the Cawdor Pot,
where the Cawdor burn (or Allt Dearg) joins the main river in
the middle part of the association fishings.
